Wise Being LLC ("SocialLoop," "we," "us," or "our") operates the SocialLoop mobile application and the website located at socialloop.ai (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Platform.
By accessing or using SocialLoop, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your phone number (used for authentication), first name, last name, username, profile photo, and city.
- Email Address: If you choose to provide an email address for notifications or account recovery.
- Event Information: When you create events, we collect event details including name, description, date, time, location, venue, images, and ticket pricing.
- RSVP and Ticket Purchases: When you RSVP to events or purchase tickets, we collect transaction details including your name, contact information, and payment information (processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe).
- Communications: Any messages, feedback, or support requests you send to us.
- Contact Information for Event Invitations: Event organizers may provide contact information (such as names and phone numbers) of individuals they wish to invite to their events through the SocialLoop platform.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, events viewed, search queries, and interaction timestamps.
- Location Data: City-level location information to show you relevant local events. We do not collect precise GPS location without your explicit consent.
- Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store your device token to deliver event reminders and updates.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Authentication Providers: If you sign in via phone number, we receive your verified phone number from Firebase Authentication.
- Payment Processors: Stripe provides us with transaction confirmations and limited payment details (last four digits, card brand) but we never receive or store your full payment card numbers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and Operate the Platform: To create and manage your account, enable event discovery, process RSVPs and ticket purchases, and facilitate connections between event attendees.
- Communications: To send you event reminders, RSVP confirmations, ticket receipts, and updates about events you're attending — via push notifications, SMS, and email.
- Personalization: To recommend events based on your location, interests, and attendance history.
- Event Hosts and Producers: To provide event hosts with tools to manage their events, communicate with attendees, and view aggregate analytics about their events.
- Safety and Security: To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests.
- Improvements: To analyze usage patterns, debug issues, and improve the Platform's features and performance.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Event Hosts: When you RSVP or purchase a ticket, the event host may see your name and profile information for event management purposes (such as check-in and attendee communication).
- Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party services including:
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, cloud functions, analytics
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Twilio — SMS delivery
- Resend — Email delivery
- Vercel — Website hosting
- Anthropic — AI-powered features (no personal data is sent to AI models)
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With Your Consent: We may share your information in other ways if you give us explicit permission.
4. SMS and Text Messages
4.1 What We Send
We send SMS messages for event-related notifications, including:
- Event invitation notifications sent on behalf of event organizers
- Event reminders and updates for events you've RSVP'd to
- RSVP and ticket purchase confirmations
- Account and security notifications
Each message is personalized to a specific event and identifies the relevant host or organizer. SocialLoop does not send generic marketing blasts. All SMS messages are event-related notifications.
4.2 How Phone Numbers Are Collected
Phone numbers are provided through the SocialLoop platform when users create accounts, register for events, accept invitations, or join event communities. Event organizers may also provide contact information for individuals they wish to invite to their events.
4.3 How Phone Numbers Are Used
We use phone numbers solely to deliver event-related SMS notifications. We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with third parties for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared with our SMS delivery provider, Twilio, solely for the purpose of delivering messages on our behalf.
4.4 Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency varies based on your event activity. You may receive up to 15 messages per month depending on event invitations and reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Supported carriers include all major US carriers.
4.5 Opt-Out, Help, and Re-Subscribe
- Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any SMS message to unsubscribe from all future SMS communications. You will receive a one-time confirmation message.
- Help: Reply HELP to any SMS message for support information, or contact us at support@socialloop.ai.
- Re-Subscribe: Reply START to resume receiving SMS messages.
Opting out of SMS does not affect push notifications or email communications, which can be managed separately through app settings and email unsubscribe links.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes.
Event attendance records and transaction history may be retained in anonymized form for analytics and reporting purposes.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
- Firebase Security Rules restricting database access
- Secure authentication via Firebase Authentication
- PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe (we never handle raw card data)
- Regular security reviews of our cloud infrastructure
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Access and Update
You can access and update your profile information at any time through the SocialLoop app settings.
7.2 Delete Your Account
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@socialloop.ai. We will process your request within 30 days.
7.3 Opt-Out of Communications
- Push Notifications: Manage through your device settings
- SMS: Reply STOP to any message
- Email: Click the unsubscribe link in any email
7.4 California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information we collect, (b) request deletion of your data, (c) opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data), and (d) non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. 8. Children's Privacy
SocialLoop is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. 9. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
10. International Users
SocialLoop is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
