You've been invited.
In 1966, Truman Capote threw the Black and White Ball for Katharine Graham, a woman running a newspaper in a man's world. Sixty years later, Psi Phi (ΨΦ) opens recruitment with its own.
Black tie, in black or white only. Your mask is waiting at the door.
At eight o'clock, the room unmasks and one question goes to the floor. It's the night before Halloween and everyone's in a mask, so here's the question: should you be allowed to send an AI version of yourself in your place? Your face, your voice, taking your meetings, your calls, even your first dates. Would they have to know?
Two sisters argue for it, two argue against, and then the floor gets its turn. You vote twice, before and after, with a black or a white ball. Whichever side changes the most minds wins. Want to argue? Say so when you request your seat.
The founder makes her own case on the ΨΦ podcast before the ball, so on the night she only moderates. Friends can disagree, and that's the point.
One room of women in AI, tech, finance, and medicine, and the night the Founding Class begins.
Friday, October 30, 7:30 to 11 PM, San Francisco. The location goes to approved guests.
Seats are $45 and include your mask and the pour. Every guest is approved by the founder.
