The Marin Headlands are one of those places that reminds you why you live here. Rugged cliffs, sweeping views of the Pacific, and trails that put the city at your back and the ocean in front of you.

Come ready to move, breathe some ocean air, and enjoy good company on good terrain. All paces welcome. This one's about the views, not the speed.

Marin Headlands, near Rodeo Beach.

We’ll meet at the trailhead before heading out together.

We’ll hang out, get everyone together, and make introductions before hitting the trail.

• Layers, the Headlands can get windy even when SF is warm

• Comfortable shoes with good grip

• Water and a snack

• Sunscreen
