First Pages: The Third Reader Kickoff

Two strangers fell in love in the margins of a library book. You're reading over their shoulder.

The Third Reader is a society for one book: S. by J.J. Abrams and Doug Dorst, read over a year in four seasons. This free kickoff is where it starts.

What we'll do:

- Meet the club and where everyone is reading from

- Walk through the four seasons and how S. is meant to be read

- Set up Week 1: the Translator's Note and Foreword

- Answer the big question: open the slipcase now, or wait?

Bring your copy if you have it. No spoilers, ever.

Saturday, November 7, 10:00 AM San Francisco · 6:00 PM London. One hour, on Discord. The link goes to everyone who RSVPs.

An unofficial reading club. Not affiliated with J.J. Abrams, Doug Dorst or the publisher.
